Less Water Usage

We only use high-performance washing machines on all our linens. These machines are designed to create a flowing stream of water to get more wash with less water. This also reduces cycle time. 

Saving Energy 

Our washing machines also have a high G-force spin cycle that spins more water, reducing the time, electricity and gas needed to dry your clothes. We also have a tankless water system in our laundry room that uses less gas and hot water. This means that we only heat water according to the needs of our customers, without always heating when the store is closed. We are updating all of our stores with LED lighting that have many advantages over other light sources, including low power consumption and long life. Electric heaters are also better for the environment when they are removed. Instead of conventional air conditioning in our laundromat, we have an air conditioning system which uses less energy to cool the air. Coolant cooling uses energy only for the fan and water pump, and the water is non-toxic, unlike some refrigerants.

Using Wool Dryer Balls

If you are looking for an eco-friendly laundry option, a dryer ball is the best option. At Laundramoon, we prefer to use wool-drying balls. They will reduce static and wrinkles, make clothes softer and help them dry faster. Spray them with some essential oils to give the clothes a heavenly fragrance.

Eco-Friendly Cleaners 

In addition to our high-quality washing machines, we use high-quality laundry detergents, which produce low suds and disperse quickly with little water. Because less water is used, less detergent is used, for less impact on the environment. Outside of the laundry process, we also use non-toxic organic cleaning products to clean our laundry. In our laundry, harsh chemicals are not used to clean machines, bathrooms, floors, folding tables or chairs.

Washing, especially in hot water, consumes a lot of electricity. In addition, chemical detergents are often filled with harmful toxins that affect health and the environment. These chemicals can seep into the groundwater that supplies drinking water and helps our food grow. The easiest and most effective solution is to wash less and wash fuller loads. However, when the machine is turned on, set it to a cool temperature with a low cycle and a front loader washing machine. Front-loaders washing machines usually use less energy and water to create less friction, which prevents the loss of microfibers. In this way, you will consume less energy and avoid excessive loss of microfibers. Also, to capture all the microfiber, a special filter must be installed.
